The weather will soon hit sub-zero in the area where I live. It is really strange that
Indian cuisine had not taken off in this part of the region although I personally feel that
the locals might enjoy it since they are accustom to chilli powder and the usage of
various types of spices in their cooking. Curry-wurst - a sausage base snack heavily
smouldered with ketchup and chili powder is common here, so much so, one will
definately stumble upon an imbiss stall or snack bar in every single city or town in this
country. Will someone care to explore this big market here?
I was in the mood to cook one fine morning. Thankfully I started early, because they
really took up quite a bit of hours. Naan, the companying bread which I´ve grown
eating since young is essential, but not easy to make. Infact, the Naan bread was the
one that took up the majority of the time spent with the kneading, rising time, kneading
again and lastly, baking them in the oven. I won´t be sharing the bread recipe today
because it still need quite a bit of tweaking. The bread should have rised more and
lighter in taste, of which both failed, though edible of course.
The Chicken Tikka Masala however, is worth sharing and you can find the link here.
There is only a thing to note if you want to give this recipe a try. Lessen the salt and it
should be fine.
Happy trying!
